CHAT SYSTEMS An instant messaging system called Lily is maintained at RPI, and has hundreds of active members who are alumni or current members of the Rensselaer community. The system has several highly active instant messaging discussions pertaining to the Macintosh, OSX, as well as hundreds of other topics. You will need to request a lily account, and install a lily client. More user-friendly clients are in development, but for now one that works can be found here. Some basic unix knowledge is required to install and run this. |
